Honda integrates iPhone...

I subscribe to Zipcar and use the service several times a month. With Zipcar, I can drive many different brands and models of vehicles, including several from Honda (Civic and CRV). Of all the Zipcars I've used, the Hondas have the absolute worst entertainment/information systems. Bluetooth pairing is hit-or-miss, sometimes calling works, sometimes not. Want to stream music from your phone? Forget it. And the sound quality is akin to some bargain radio you'd find at Big Lots. I now go out of my way to not get a Honda. Especially when the Mazdas and Fords have systems that pair effortlessly, stream music from my phone, integrate steering-wheel controls that operate my phone without issue, and sound amazing.

So, go ahead, Honda, you've got a lot of room to improve. But maybe you'd do better making your systems more universal, like Mazda, instead of pandering to Apple.

Re: Honda integrates iPhone...

I not familiar with the Honda's but I have a 08 Focus with the original SYNC in it and I say I been able to hook up every phone I have ever owned to it. iHeart with Bluetooth has always been excellent and never needed any other special apps to use it. Ford did things right from the get to.
