Sony sez"Our console will be 8k!"
First of all, if you are willing to believe Sony at their word on console hardware, you're a damned fool at this point.
Sony also claimed that the ps2 would do toy story graphics, which was already early ray tracing. Sony also said that the ps3 would have dual hdmi outs, a ten year lifespan and a. 20 year library to access. That was all a lie too.
Sony claims the ps4 is 4K and it can't even do 1080p at 60fps, and their own stupid mandates telling devs that "pro can't run the game faster than vanilla" has only resulted in pro-aware games running worse on the refresh console than they do on the standard model (at least for any i ever cared enough to research). What sense does that make?
They won't even ATTEMPT to solve the backward compatibility deficit they have compared to the xbox one at present. Yet we're supposed to believe their turd box is going to natively support 8K *and* ray tracing?
Is there a line somwhere with a sign that reads "you must be this brain damaged to enter" at a Sony facility somewhere? I just gotta know. | |

Why is "activation" a thing anywayI have never paid an activation fee - and even back when I actually had to pay for a SIM card it was around £5. Nowadays I just get a SIM for free, I insert it into any phone I want (and I don't have to ask permission or make sure it's on an approved list) and away I go.
What is being done to justify $40 or $20? I doubt hours of highly paid human effort is needed to get a system to provision a SIM.
