Using a data plan that is truly unlimited, this wouldn't concern me so much. I probably would never go over 5GB/mo, but it's the fact that it is possible. Wifi is much quicker using home broadband. And say I want to go into Canada... time to pay some heavy fees for foreign usage. I wish there was an option to get a phone like this without a data plan. But Verizon is actually going backwards, where they will require almost-smart-phones to require data plans (voyager and dare).
Re: Firms charge employees for Vista boot-up times
If your employer won't pay you for booting up or shutting down a Windows Vista or any other computer, just leave the thing on. If their not paying you for it, it's not your responsibility to boot it up or shut it down!
