I suppose over the weekend, I'll be deleting and re-installing Firefox, since I can no longer post comments on YouTube since the geniuses there decided to force that Google+ crap on everyone. I'm using an older version and it works if I use a blank profile, but not with my normal one. I tried disabling all the extensions, but it still doesn't work.
Over the years, I've updated Firefox while keeping my profile information intact. Apparently FF doesn't always update properly if there's old profile information.
The last time I tried to update to FF19, it came out all screwed up. Lots of sites didn't work properly, there were two copies of the normal toolbar at the top, etc.
I'm dreading re-configuring it from scratch, trying to find compatible versions of all my extensions, backing up and restoring all my personal info.
All so I can fix a problem on YouTube that is only an issue because Google can't accept the fact that nobody wants to use Google+.

Nope, no noscript. I tried it once many years ago, but removed it when I couldn't get YouTube videos to play no matter what I did, short of disabling it completely (which lead to incessant warnings of doom and gloom).
I run 2 versions of FF on my system--one that I don't update and one that I do update--which I know probably sounds weird but I started doing this years ago and found it useful.
So, rather than uninstalling what you have now, why not just download the current version and install it in a different folder--"Firefox2" for example?
You will need to do a custom install and UNcheck the option to make the new Firefox your default--you can change it later if you want but see the notes below. Prior to starting the new version, you would want to modify the desktop shortcut for your existing version and create a new destkop shortcut of the new version using the info below.
You do need to use a trick to run 2 different versions of FF by playing with the "Start In" and "Target" settings for each version's desktop shortcut.
I run my non-updated FF version as my primary: -The "Start In" section of the desktop shortcut, I have: F:\Firefox --note: "F:\Firefox" would need to be modified for your own installation location
- The "Target" section of the desktop shortcut: F:\Firefox\firefox.exe -p default --note, "F:\Firefox\firefox.exe" would need to be modified for your own installation location
My updateable FF version has the following: - The "Start In" section of the desktop shortcut, I have: F:\Firefox2 --note: "F:\Firefox2" would need to be modified for your own installation location
- The "Target" section of the desktop shortcut: F:\Firefox2\firefox.exe -no-remote -p firefox2profile --note: "F:\Firefox2\firefox.exe" would need to be modified for your own installation location
i just use portable firefox and portable opera 12.16 - that way i can have like 3 different versions of each (low med hi security and privacy etc) and just copy paste as many new identical ones as i need and either use sandboxie or delete as necessary.

To all the Vets: What is your stand on the oft handed out phrase, " Thank you for your service"? I find it to be fake, as it usually comes from a Customer service rep. trying to get your business/keep your business.

It is astounding how big of a deal your bed is in terms of back support and therefore back health.
While my hearniated disc(s) (MRI results not known yet) were not likely caused by my 14 year old bed, the lack of support to keep my spine in proper alignment has made it incredibly difficult to sleep since the herniation event.
So I bought a 13" layered latex mattress from SleepEZ. Should last me decades - and I like the idea of being able to just replace a top layer later instead of the whole bed.

Keep us posted. In fact if you could link us the model number etc that would be great
Doctors are full of it. My shoulder is killing me, X-Ray shows arthritis in the shoulder and back but they don't want to refer me to a rheumatologist. They just want to give me the NSIADs (Motrin, Naproxen, Relafen) and taking those is like drinking out of a gas can.
But I had to do what I had to do by putting in a taller toilet for my arthritic grandma who had to move in with us and she has a hip replacement. I had to drag out the old toilet which weighed about 90 lbs. I could have smashed it up but I did not want to deal with the cleanup. -- I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner and I currently have DirecTV. They are much better than broadcast TV.
Encrypted messages, fancy technology, spies use them all to communicate, but sometimes the best way to hide is in plain sight. Right now, broadcasting across the airwaves around the world, are automated, anonymous shortwave AM radio stations that most governments won't acknowledge even exist, much less explain. Best of all, you can hear recordings from them right now.
Got me a Sonata Hybrid 2011 for 18K fully loaded with 27K miles. Went from every 4 days filling a tank to once a week. Once I finish college in December might go down to 2 tanks per month with just going to and from work.
I used to fill up on average 6 tanks per month. I am saving $120 per month by dropping two tanks per month and will save $240 per month after college.
My previous car was a 2012 Sonata turbo at 22 - 24mpg average. My current car is 30 - 36mpg average.
My driving preference is spirited.
I traded it in because of fuel and strange problems that I was getting fed up with.
