I Love Football and I understand that games are more fun in the crappy weather. I live on a mountain in North PA and I can ensure you that NO ONE especially a 48 yr old is playing Football outside right now.
As for Real Football (Soccer) its an argument I have heard a milion times. Its too slow and not much scoring. I have watched thousands of soccer games in my life, some have been crap...others the most exciting things ever. I have watched many NFL games that had high scores but were terrible. I love a great defensive match up.

Accepted.
Here is our current weather alert. Have Fun with your game.
THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST TUESDAY.
THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON IS FILTERING INTO THE STATE AND WILL CONTINUE WELL INTO THE NEW WORK WEEK. THE COMBINATION OF LOW TEMPERATURES WITHIN A FEW DEGREES OF ZERO...AND A GUSTY WIND OUT OF THE WEST WILL CAUSE WIND CHILL READINGS TO AVERAGE 15 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.
THESE COLD WIND CHILL READINGS WILL LAST THROUGH TUESDAY. DURING THE HOURS AROUND SUNRISE ON BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY MORNINGS...THE WIND CHILLS MAY EVEN APPROACH 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. IF THIS LOOKS MORE CERTAIN...A WIND CHILL WARNING MAY BE ISSUED.
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE TO DRESS IN LAYERS AND WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES. -- "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The fact that races aren't a once a year event generally means a lot less cell activity at them. Most venues have two races per year, so it's not a rare event that people want "kodak moments" of, while the superbowl tends to be a once in a life time event for a person and a lot of them want to share that event with everyone they know at that moment. | |
