Last month, news outlets began digging into mobile operator Zer01, and noting that the company was engaged in some dubious marketing endeavors with some questionable people, and despite promising dirt cheap mobile VoIP and data, still hadn't shown anybody a concrete product. The company has been trying to salvage things by blaming most of the problems on MLM partners Buzzirk and Global Verge, and yesterday took things further by announcing they'd terminated their relationship with both companies.

"The Zer01 Mobile team wishes Buzzirk Mobile the best of luck for all future endeavors. However, Zer01 Mobile has decided to formally sever our business relationship due to the breach of contract by Buzzirk Mobile," stated Lance Dascotte, COO, Zer01 Mobile, in a prepared statement.

In an interesting move, the company went on to threaten the press, who in recent weeks have been ripping the company apart for its marketing choices and non-existent product, and in some cases even taking back awards handed out earlier this year at CTIA. According to Zer01, the problem apparently wasn't their claims or choice of business partners, but various media outlets :Certainly threatening legal action against all the news outlets highlighting Zer01's poor business decisions will make things much better.
