Pepper tolerated one more photoshoot, and even got curious about the camera. I guess I need to adjust the f-stops to control DOF a bit better. Fortunately, I caught her eyes in focus.

very nice idea....i love the tight crop....for this kind of shot, increase your DOF (depth of focus) yo at LEAST f/8, and ideally to/10+.....keep trying@ "

Thanks, kchaz This was one of those "lucky" shots and I was pretty much in full auto mode, shooting her under fluorescent light with no flash. I'll definitely try again with the DOF set differently.
