Question: how would you guys have cropped this? I have trouble getting myself to "throw away" part of my images sometimes, when it may be necessary. This photo is an example...what would you do?

I think it's a super shot. I might have cropped it as you did or even made it into 2 images, 1/2 and 1/2.

Interesting photo. For a more abstract look, I’d try cropping right below the last step on the bottom left, keeping the rest of the image. If you want a conventional perspective, the photo is nice as is.

For me, I would only crop the right side where you have the vertical wood. I'd like to imagine the lines going on and on. Everything else is great to me!
