 | OK, I'm all for gun ownership and what not. But, ah, dude, you're blind. Sure you can shoot a camera blind but shooting a gun blind is, well, asking for trouble. Not from a "I don't think you can do it" perspective, but how the hell are you going to perform target verification? hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @02:09PM

 | He doesn't need any target verification - anything that moves will be shot. I mean, most blind people can see very little but they're definitely not clear. Alpha can easily be Cheney's hunting buddy just fine.
Just point him in the right direction and tell him to shoot away.hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @02:18PM

That's about it. I am not stupid enough to go shooting myself. I went shooting today, and my buddy helped me aim.hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @02:36PM

 | Are you sure this is legal? I know discharging a firearm at night without a light is illegal in my state. How would this be any different?
In the end the person in holding the firearm is responsible for what happens, regardless of who may be aiding the shooter. hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @03:33PM

 | I have a .410 as well. But mine is a break action compared to your pump action. I love the .410 Hardly any recoil to it at all. hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @06:43PM

 | I've seen some people who call themselves "hunters" with excellent eyesight go out and shoot without a good view of their target, without consideration of where a missed shot would go and without knowing where other hunters were. When they did hit their target, they were too careless, lazy or unskilled to track and retrieve their game.
I've also seen people go out full of booze and, what they didn't scare away with their noisy antics, shot at anything they thought moved, doing so without regard to life, game or property.
I'd rather be in a field full of qualified blind shooters and their guides than just one of the above mentioned doofuses any day. Alphapointe, I say go for it. hey mods · » Wednesday March 14th, @10:41PM
