I love this guy. :)

My dad still hears his voice lol Believe it or else, he was my dad's DI in 1962 or 63 (can't recall exactly). Though he was rough on his Marines, my dad says he contributed to his safe return from I Corps (think Khe Sanh, Camp Carrol, Rockpile, etc).

We saw him at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum during the WWII Weekend. The people waiting for his autograph was like 3 city blocks in length.
