I have to work on getting this large lens to focus where I want it. I can tell the bird is a tad out of focus and I'm getting similar results in other images. With the TC the AF is not very cooperative even with ample light (I'm wondering if the Sigma 1.4x TC would work better than the Kenko). Switching to manual focus it's pretty sensitive and getting it spot-on with the viewfinder is a tad difficult. This was shot manual focus.

When one says something is a tad OOF, I tend to take a much closer look at it due to not having very good vision to begin with without glasses (no, I am not wearing them!) While I can see what you mean, you're talking a really little bit OOF!!! And the detail is really nice.
