| Good question...If I had been thinking about DOF, I would have stopped down to f8 or f11. But I was thinking about how to not have my tripod (and camera) as well as me fall off the rock where I was setup into the creek! Once I got it composed correctly, it was fire the shutter and get myself (and my toys) off the rock.
I also would have used the GND filter I had just purchased and had in my gadget bag (if I had been thinking, which it seems I was not). It was a good learning opportunity for me. The lesson is situational awareness and being cognisant of what tools I have at my disposal to create the best image.hey mods · » Thursday May 27th, @03:35PM
