 | When this Bradford pear started blooming two weeks ago, North Texas was hit with extreme cold (down to 14 F - cold for early March in these parts), snow, sleet, and hail. The blooms quickly died and fell off the tree. It bloomed again this week. Amazing! hey mods · » Saturday March 15th, @07:07AM

 | That is amazing! I have seen springs here that we don't have spring tree blossoms because of the weather. Nice shot. hey mods · » Saturday March 15th, @10:55AM

 | Thank you both. I'm just happy it's blooming again as I've been taking photos of it each year going back to 2005. These pear blossoms do indeed have an aroma, one that I truly enjoy as it's the smell of spring. This spring is especially meaningful for us as we've been through a fairly brutal winter here in N. Texas. Some people do not like the fragrance of these blossoms and also have allergies to the pollen. hey mods · » Saturday March 15th, @11:17PM
