Abstract/Artistic... Shooting in RAW really helped me out for this one in terms of WB and dynamic range.

Looking for all those orphan socks? ;-)

This image has me speechless, only because I've never seen anything like it. What prompted you to come up with the idea?

Making the seemingly ordinary look fresh, different, exciting and compelling. The lighting/shadow and shapes coupled with the abstract artistry all add up to a phenomenal image. An inventive, distinctive photograph.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I don't think until today I'd ever had the light off in the laundry room, while also having that basket under the open dryer door. When I saw it, I knew I had to get a picture of it, one way or another.

Exposure on this one was just over one second at f/4 with my 17-40mm f/4L.
