 | Just great. Besides the obvious charm of the photo, it is also a fine technical accomplishment. Balancing the light under that canopy of trees and managing to get the framing branches in the foreground properly exposed is commendable. A question for you pros out there. Would a shot like this need model releases for publication? I don't think anybody is recognizeable to the general population, but looking at the photographer and those cute subjects from the thread "[Retouch] I need help with this one", I imagine we're looking at those same darling pumpkin patch kids!  | If all the comments above were put into a choice. My response would be "all the above". The one thing that really jumped out at me was that they were looking at each other when the frame was shot.  | Wow! Thank You EVERYONE! What a pleasant surprise to find all your kind comments. This image was inspired by a conversation I had with a friend about our children's vulnerabilities, innocence and life's unknowns.
rdavs we hit the same level of deep. I also likened it as the path of life and as they neared the bend were the fog thickened the little one anxiously looks to her brother who gives her a reassuring "Just hold my hand" and continue on.
noerurz The B&W looks awesome. The thought of a picture of mine on someones wall is such a honor. Go for it buddy!
dnnsmenace I had a difficult time generating that fog. I tried several times to get it to what you see. I'm guessing because of you asking that it isn't to fake looking. :)
