I was wondering if anyone liked this edit. The picture was way under exposed from my Sony's flash not working properly.

I like it although it's kind of hard to see definition. The lack of flash is ashame, but the image is quite interesting even after having to save it. If it's as good as it gets, then you've at least got the image. It kind of resembles something very old in a way.

I should have mentioned that I did attempt a old looking oil painting with the edit.

Good job, BC50! 'Course with a subject like that, it's hard to go wrong. :)

I like it just the way it is, the under exposure works to your advantage and gives the shot a artsy look, so your old oil painting worked!

Is this Emily? She has an adult's air of gravity to her, moody and introspective.

A great salvage job accomplished by you too. I agreed with the others here that your technique looks like an old oil painting. I looked around a bit and thought that the works of Diego Velasquez (1599-1660) best matched your result. Many of his paintings used dark, earthen tones and had a somber, brooding quality to them.

This painting is called 'Infanta Margarita' (one of several with the same title.) Circa 1636.

Very nice work Mr. M, you are a master.
