 | I would have gone for the plain white background (as it seems you tried to do). For an portfolio-quality shot, you will also need a finer glass - this one smacks of 99 cents at Wal-Mart (strip around the border, foot is chipped). You woul also need to make sure that the perspecive is flawless; there seems to be a tiny bit of lens distortion, as the top of the glass, the liquid line and the foot are not perfectly parallel.
