One problem with this guy
In Isenberg's article, towards the end he states this:

"McCormick's absurd assertions and PFF Scott Wallsten's equally blatant claims, for example, that dial-up Internet customers liked dial-up better than broadband..."

I read an article on MSN a week or two ago, concerning debt troubles. One specific piece of advice was to substitute high speed internet with a $9.99 dial-up plan. So there are those out there (I'm sure he considers them the 'unwashed masses') who DO prefer dial-up over hsi. Now if you could get 1.5 meg for $9.99 with a free modem, their advice may be different. But you can't, so it's not. And Isenberg needs to get off his high horse.
