3G Routers
I recently switched from AT&T's mobile broadband to Sprint, despite 5 months remaining on my contract. One of the main selling points: the slow as molasses (Cingular)/AT&T TOS clearly stated that using the service at home was a violation. I never had the Verizon mobile broadband, but the Cingular/AT&T experience tells me the Verizon rep is probably correct in calling it a violation. Sprint's TOS not only says no such thing, you can buy one of the router's at the Sprint store. It is actually worth trying to wade through those TOS's. Now I have a wireless connection for my laptop that is actually faster than dial-up, and I have a backup at home if RR goes down.
