I like this attorney general

I like this attorney general - not going off on what could prove to be a wild goose chase on taxpayer's money.

Now - if there had been more credible sources - I could understand persuing this further...

I wouldn't investigate either

This is a good call... if "David Unavailable" had given more credible or really anything other then an accusation they could look into it.

In agreement here

If there was no solid evidence I don't think I would waste the money investigating either. Especially if the tipster backpeddles.

As much as they hate fairpoint up there, the Main AG still has to have some type of credible evidence. That's being fair and a good AG.

She made right call based on lack of any evidence:

I did a Google search for Janet Mills
Is she America's next top model?

Representative Janet Mills has won the Democratic nomination for Attorney General after beating Sean Faircloth in the second round of voting.

You're right, no accolades from me.
Frigging Demo's have ruined and continue to ruin this state on a daily basis.

Regardless of one's sentiments regarding Janet Mills herself, a flurry of unsubstantiated anonymous emails is hardly a proper foundation for launching an investigation--especially when the anonymous tipster himself is relying on second- and third-hand information.

Had "David Unavailable" pointed the way towards incriminating evidence, an investigation might be warranted. On the basis of what's been reported, however, the Attorney General made the right decision.
