Verizon - we write the laws so legislators don't have to.
Of course Verizon wants Congress to look at the FCC regulatory oversight laws.
That way Verizon can pay Congress to pass laws far more favorable to Verizon and less favorable to the customers Verizon supposedly serves. |

Brian Roberts actually invests some money in his networks. McAdam lets it all fall of the pole, refuses to replace bad equipment, and then he comes back and tells you LTE is great and that you should use that instead.
Brian Roberts just wants an empire, finishing what his dad started. Comcast is a kingdom passed from father to son. McAdam seems to be actively working not only to damage Verizon but to damage the whole industry. |

Re: How is this guy...Comcast only invests in networks if you live in a good area, live in an economically depressed area they let it rot into the ground (based on my observation). At least we're lucky enough to have X1 and D3 but their support is as good as Verizon and the trash bags (from my point of view).
They also do a half assed job with repairs, when my underground line went bad they cut corners when replacing it. |

What really matters is that Comcast RIGHT NOW can deliver Broadband to a vast majority of its customers, while VZ still has millions of lines left in 1984 (inexcusable)
Very few people (measured in the hundreds, thousands may be a stretch) live in analog only no HSI Comcast systems...
Its silly easy for me to find a home in VZ ILEC area with no DSL or FIOS.
VZ is a metro-joke while Comcast remains semi-serious about providing service. While that level of customer service may be atrocious, the local folks seem to care.
And BTW I have seen them provide good service in not so wealthy semi-rural areas of VA...
As for premtech work that has nothing to do with plant maintenance, its well known most prem techs and the contractors don't give a shit. |
