All weekend?I canceled my SlingTV on the 17th of last month due to a 25.00 coupon for DirecTV Now and can't wait to cancel this joke of a sevice. You can't even watch a whole show without it skipping or buffering 15+ times.
Only reason I canceled sling was due to their obnoxiously loud local commercials but I will reorder SlingTV in a few days. |

Cord Cutting Simply Not Worth ItJust too many problems, too many deficiencies. |

said by Anon55733 :Just too many problems, too many deficiencies. SlingTV isn't bad except the local commercials are literally 20X louder than the show and their engineering has been working on it for months. I don't see how it's so difficult to lower the volume of inserted commercials. |

For Sling? or DTVN?
Guess it depends on your needs. For me, I require channels Sling simply doesn't carry - and I appreciate the superior PQ that DTVN offers. Admittedly, DTVN has suffered more glitches and technical issues than I'd care for, but for now, I'm willing to overlook that. Sling has a nice interface, love the Cloud DVR, but none of that really matters if what I want to watch isn't available. |

gotten bad recentlyfor the past month DTVNow has become unwatchable after 8 pm. Constant stops, stutters, "something has gone wrong" messages. And there is still NO customer service- no phone number to call, automated "live chat" with the canned 'we're working on it" response they've been giving for a year now. I find myself more and more using my DTVN login to view a network's web site to stream programs cause at least those work.
As for FuboTV, read the reviews. They are just as bad. |

Re: All weekend?I tried it again with a free trial, kept getting a black screen when logging in, channels would not load. 4th time I have tried since they launched, I must be a glutton for punishment. |

Re: DirecTV NowYou are kidding right? Their channel lineup is laughable. |

Makes one wonder.....Is this a "coincidence" ? The frustration with this service might drive customers back to their traditional satellite service? Nahhhh! |
|
| |
guessI guess ATT might wanna upgrade that wristwatch duct taped to the wall that used to count users data and report it after the monthly reset time/day so it counts against the customers new months of data usage... It made em money in the past, but its time to upgrade to a battery powered potato with a hand crank generator, but don't hire anyone to crank it.
It's the att way |

AT&T wants to collect $$ but not spend anything in CAPEXThis makes clear what AT&T is all about. Collecting $$ but spending a min. on actually supporting the back end. There is a reason that they are called the "Death Star". They screw customers and stuff their pockets. |
|
| |
There is also the issue that 5% actually pay $35.00 a month. 45% on on the monthly trial and cylce the free month and disposable addresses and emails and 50% on on $10 a month plans bundled with their wireless plans. I say screw everyone at $35 a month and actually fix the service. |

Re: AT&T wants to collect $$ but not spend anything in CAPEXSo you're isolating 5% of the customers on $35/mo plan as the problem for DTVN technical issues. Blame the paying customers instead of the provider. Nice. That's exactly how the corporation would want you to think. |
|
| |
Your reading comprehension is incorrect. What I said was charge everyone $35 a month. $35 is enough to actually pay to the infrastructure needed. Clearly the $10 and the freeloaders are not contributing enough $ to ATT to upgrade - can't get blood from a stone. I pay $35 a month by the way. |

No problem with regular DirecTVHave regular DirecTV and have no problems with it. I’m in the millennial generation (born in the early part of the generation) and I won’t do streaming other than through the DirecTV app that comes with the DirecTV service. I don’t have any issues with buffering. I ask many of my friends at work (I work at a grocery store and my co-workers are younger than me) and I ask them what they watch on TV lately and they say they don’t watch much TV.
One of my friends is a huge Bruins fan so I guess he has cable TV, can’t get sports on streaming services unless you’re out of market. |

This is the third time trying DTV Now and never again. I don't know why I keep trying them again 😂 |

I am now thinking of going with U-verse as long as the price is somewhat reasonable. Maybe more of issues will be fixed by 2019. |

TV is definitely going to be trickier. |

Error 771 772Service sucks! Everyday for the last few weeks. I'm having to reboot over n over. Called lovely customer service....she can't figure out issue but if I pay $99 they will send someone out one time. As if they don't charge enough. Then when I refuse to do so and advise her that good customer service would be to figure out the problem.....she decides to repeat herself as if I'm a child!!!! Problem is still not solved. Smh |
