Priority Packets

Full VOIP with Priority Packets doesn't run afoul of caps. Is this Comcast's VOIP, then of course it wouldn't. That would be like an IT admin blocking permission on his own account to format a hard drive.

Suppose that is redundant. Trimmed.

Re: Priority Packets

Another silly "Feature" that most wont use. Like you really need video in a e mail. Make it bloated and clog up the net even more. That's the ticket...

Re: Priority Packets

Toy with losing cusotmers to FIBER and telco buildouts... either upgrade your cable plant and broadband or lose customers, simple.

Re: Priority Packets

Or, let the bandwidth crazed losers who have nothing more to do than to sit around and test their speed all day go to Verizon and suck them dry, leaving only the normal user behind to make a profit from.

Not sure why everyone is so hellbent on getting to the next level of download speed. Verizon doubled my speed and I have to say, life for me hasn't changed much since.

Reminds me of highschool. All the chumps sitting in the parking lot with their hoods popped open discussing ways to make their cars faster. No place to go, but have to get there fast fast fast!!

A speed test takes 30 seconds if that. Do you really think people that care about the faster speeds are sitting around milking the bandwidth doing speed tests?

People use their bandwidth in many different ways. Gaming, file sharing, voice & audio communications, telecommuting, etc.

And I am definitely one of the people that when fiber comes along, will be moving on over to the faster speeds. I am not moving mainly for the download. I care more for the upload and the cost. Rather have the same price for higher speeds.
