Opera kicks assAint it obvious? Got all the features in it without the need of extensions. Its free and very customizable. Its also the safest and fastest of all the browsers. And lets not forget fast forward and rewind, gotta love it.:D Need I say more? |

I'm inclined to agree, just a shame not all websites work with opera. + for a SkinFreak like me I choose Opera, they've got very choice skinz |

Last time I checked I had to pay for opera to have it ad-free. Firefox is a basic free browser that is expanded according to the user taste by plugins/extensions. |

BOTH or EITHER!I think they are both absolute great browsers..
But lately I have only been using firefox, because of nightly's and firefox's faster, more efficient development. |

Firefox for life! :PExtensions are what it's all about. |

StuckOpera is a great browser and I would make the switch from firefox, but another company is holding be back. The company that makes the app AI Roboform does not support Opera with their software and I use this stuff all the time since i fill out tons of forms online and i have found opera's form filler to be pretty poor. And i really dont like using 2 broswers, so it looks like im stuck with firefox. |

Re: Opera kicks ass$40 is 'free' to you? |

Yeah, me tooI have a license for Opera. Used it for a long time. Like it. But... I use FF on a daily basis now. Mostly 'cause I didn't like where O was going with bundling M2 and IRC and etc. Let me choose what gets loaded and then okay (maybe they are at this point?). BTW, yes I did also use M2 for over a year. I like it okay... I think GMail took their "filter/tag-instead-of-folder" idea. |

Re: StuckTry Maxthon. Supports Roboform, very customizable, not as "user friendly" as Firefox, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - it just seems I can do more with Maxthon than Firefox. » www.maxthon.com |

Both are good browsersI use both everyday, though I use FF more, mostly because of the fact I can use SpywareBlaster with it and the text sizing feature is better, when I go to 120% view in Opera some of the letters in the text are messed up and the scrolling is not as smooth. The ads in Opera are nothing, they are small and out of the way, after a little while they are hardly noticeable. |

Free works for me.. I get what I need at a price I cant complain. I also turned to AVG (though not the best when compared to paid services) it still does what I need.. |

only drawbackthe only drawback for me to using FireFox is that it wont play video files. they briefly show up on the screen then the video whites out and only audio is heard. |

They don't make money. Being Open source allows them to run without having to hire many people. |
