this is the way it startsThe somewhat gentle push, the probe and then the withdraw...all very calculated and timelined but never waivering from the goal of making this law. |

HehLike I said before if all companies reject this bill like the plague, those who made this bill and try to pass it will change there mind. Just keep the cooperations fighting it and it won't see the light of day. |

Re: this is the way it startssaid by Persona:The somewhat gentle push, the probe and then the withdraw...all very calculated and timelined but never waivering from the goal of making this law. Thank you Sir for posting this explanation of how currupt tyranny works in the current political system. Now you see the heart of the oppressive nature of the beast at work. The most important aspect you put under the microsope of public opinion is quote: never waivering from the goal of making this law
The very fact of floating this (trial balloon) reveals the true nature and intent of its intended purpose. Kind of like testing wind direction and speed.the goal is accomplished through small incremental *baby steps*.As is the case here concerning this issue. They took two steps forward, If one is watching closely,it'll be hard not to notice they only took one step back. Some may say no harm,no foul was committed.Next month, they take another two steps forward on this same issue. Those watching will voice objection to their proposal(tyranny at work here)and take one step back. The answer to the question:Where does that leave them.? Obviously two steps ahead of where they started, Which leaves,We The People, with even more sand added to the Vaseline. If these public servants, were actually real public servants and representatives of the American people. It would do them well to take heed of the growing hatred and ugly atmosphere being directed at them,in their ivory towers daily. IMO these azzhole politicians, are doing nothing but raising the temperature of an already hot stove(The Public). When the boiling water on the stove, boils over and erupts into scalding steam. They have no one to blame but themselves, for bringing it and and causing through their actions. I honestly will be surprised if something doesn't happen before the end of summer or by the end of the year at the latest, given' the current political unrest. We the people no longer have the right or ability to address congress for grievances. That my friends is gone, the banner of **national security** squashes it.I wonder how much longer America will stand idly by and allow itself to be raped with no end in sight of it stopping. |

Yep and that's how it got started in Germany in the late 1920's and 1930's with Hitler. Everything the government did was ok and not to be questioned because they were "protecting" the citizens. By the time the people realized what was going on, it was too late. |

I wonder howMany of these ideas are just floated out there to generate mail to your representatives so they can tell you how dead set they are against X law and please give to my campaign war chest so I can continue to fight against such boneheaded never intended to go anywhere ideas. |

In time it will passEventually this law will pass no matter if the majority in Congress is Republican or Democrat in the coming years.
There is virtually no difference between the two parties in most cases. The voted out incumbents will be replaced with much of the same. That is until the people realize you do have other choices besides cotinually voting for either Republicans or Democrats. |

Re: this is the way it startsThe next step will be to indoctrinate children, via the public school system, with the idea that this kind of surveillance is necessary to a 'safe' society. And in one generation, they will be able to turn America into a dictatorship without resistance. |

There's reason why no democracy has lasted more than 500+ yrand it starts with the overbearing authority of federal government. Any sensible person should be able to figure out where this country is ultimately headed... to hell in a handbasket. |

You don't have clue one about what I do for a living or the activities I participate in. For all you know, I could be from Johns Hopkins U hacking/cracking into the Diebold/ES&S eVoting machines to underscore the utter insecurity and foolishness of using paperless, auditless software to vote representatives into public office. The only person I see sitting around bitching and moaning is you, bubba. |
