Download speeds dropped drastically.
Kept getting timeouts.
Email was very slow.

All because of a loose cable in the back of the 314.

Yeup, reseated the cables and all went back to normal.

do line checks and all sorts of other things. *RED FACE*)]]> http://www.dslreports.com/forum/Re-RT314-Poor-throughput-My-Experience-1008748 Wed, 20 Jun 2001 18:36:16 EDT http://www.dslreports.com/forum/RT314-Poor-throughput-1008414 I was looking at the RWIN articles here under the Tweaks section, and did the test to my default gateway with the 'ping -f -n 10 -l 1472 host_or_IP' and 'ping -f -n 10 -l 1472 host_or_IP' and got average pings of 100 for the first and 40 for the second.
I also tried doing the tweak test, and it would start the download of the file, then say "* Downloading file of size 146000: Failed to download, or server busy: Read timed out."
I have rebooted my computer, router and modem. I had Gearminder running for a while, and it changed the MTU from 1500 to 1452, which didn't change anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
