You will not see me post how PS2 is better than X-Box...
The X-Box is a superior machine... with inferior games..
Halo 2 will be a great game... overhyped? Probably...
But there is no way that a FPS shooter is going to be better than GTA San Andreas...
I can list the reasons for you if you need me to, but I think you can figure out why on your own... but you may need to wait until it comes out on X-Box in 2005. |

Your right Socom isnt as good... its better imo. I hate fps, there is such an abundance of them,a nd there so overplayed. I much prefer a tactical tps anyday. Its a matter of opinion really, but i just dont like fps. |

OK.......here it comes again....where is the multiplayer? And your argument about which sold more is pointless. We all know the numbers. 24 million ps2's, 8 million Xbox's (depending on where you get your info), obviously a large advantage to Sony. How many copies of Pokemon sold? I'd bet it was more than GTA-VC....so does it make it "better". Not in my reckoning, nor yours no doubt. The point is which game is generating more buzz in the industry and CLEARLY it is Halo 2. How many game developers and designers and reviewers are drooling about the release of San Andreas? Sure the game will be fun if your into that but are there going to be any major changes to the gameplay? I doubt it, maybe you could list some for me. Until then I say more of the same from that series. It's just like Madden....polish it up, reset the roster and Wham....gimme $50. |

The fact that you believe that San Andreas is just going to be a dressed up Vice City shows that you have not read the reviews and are not knowledgeable on the subject.

OK...we're going nowhere here. I can admit that when GTA hit the scene with the non-linear gameplay, it was unmatched and as such, revoloutionary. I take offense to the comment about not reading the PRE-views, not reviews, as I have been following the development of it on Gamespot somewhat. I understand the whole "gang" thing which is the main theme this time....isn't that what the first game was about? Gangs? Of course, hence my allusion to the other games in reference to this one. You still have not answered my question about industry buzz and excitement over the pending release. GTA-SA doesn't warrent even half the hype Halo 2 is getting. OK...whatever, the proof is in the final released game...we'll see. I respect your opinion though, but you'll still miss out Nov 9th......... P.S. The "Sims" is like the number one selling game in America....does that make it awesome? I think it sucks personally........... |

True. I didn't even know GTA:SA was coming out till a month ago, and I'm a huge GTA fan. (I almost bought a PS2 because of it.) However, even now that I know I feel I can wait much longer for GTA:SA than H2. The buzz and hype surrounding it has been way thicker. |

ps2 i can see through people and the lights are all flimmering if that is a word is this my tv my ps2 or what?
i bought a new ps2 the +version 1.5 week ago so it cant be the ps2 i think could it be dust in the ps2 or is it just the tv?
