My back up internet access is with a Nationwide cable company and they do NOT block port 25. I pay less ($39.99) for 3mbps/256k (overhead is less so I can get up to 2.7-2.8 Mbps), even though this is a subdivision with around 400+ houses they provide ping times as good as BS around the clock same for speed. And believe or not in 3 years of using its e-mail address I have not received unsolicited e-mail at all. I will keep my fastaccess for the remaining of my contract but I will be start looking for something better soon.
