Avatar file size, or pixel size is not the purpose of this request. This request is another way to contribute financially to DSLR, and also allow the many who accessorize avatars with the season, and holiday celebrations, to do it more easily. A avatar is an expression of one's self. That we bother at all, is a tribute to the many users here, the programmers, moderators, and management of this fine website |

Hmm..
I personally cant see where people should have the need for 10..but hey. Whatever.
As long as its something decent (as far as site benefits go).. like the 10 more slots for 10tp.. I'm all for this. *Sign*
Maybe they could even expire yearly... at which time 10 more toolpoints would be required to keep it all there. Kinda like how it is paying for the linequality tests and whatnot. Having more avatars does put an additional load on things (however slight).. it shouldnt be just a onetime fee. |

There's the rub... they're not votes! They are voiced opinions... nothing more! Anyone who thinks they're "voting" on anything is sadly disillusioned! And anyone who thinks that a couple of dozen members is a general consensus out of an active site membership of over 90,000... na-a-a-ah...it ain't necessarily so. My own opinion is that 10 avatars should be more than enough for anyone... you need more? Store them on your computer. |

I don't believe usa2k is disillusioned, just requesting a feature that he and others are willing to pay for. Maybe this is another example of where we need someone in the know to step in and say, you got to be kidding or we will think about it or great idea, why didn't I think of that. |

Good Idea...I only have two now that I use on a regular basis but It would be nice to know that I could always buy more with tool points and store them... |

Unless it's impossible to program, I can't see why anyone could object to those premium members willing to pay extra for more avatar storage. It also seems like might pull in some more money for the site and I assume can always use more. I personally am not interested in paying more for more storage, but some people will pay for things others won't and I don't see how it would be a disadvantage to anyone. Am I missing something? |

^^ agree with objection. Sounds like a lot of disk space wasted for things you can keep on your machine. |

5K an avatar is merely spit on a server. $10 for 50K (or 0.050 Megabytes) sure covers that. |
