Well I got 3 V600 from AT&T Wireless for $80 each through my company (FAN, google is your best friend). I sold 2 on eBay (look up under seller name JRSMOOTH29), this one was going to keep (to upgrade my Nokia 6200), but decided to just sell it as well to make a profit.
Why un-brand? With AT&T Wireless's software, you have to use mMode as default, in the case you are not using AT&T Wirelss (which is also why I unlocked it), you can configura whatever the way you want to browse the web, CSD, GPRS, whatever. The Outside LCD no longer reads AT&T Wireless, rather, it reads Motorola; I sure hate to see when I use T-Mobile but I still see AT&T Wireless on the outside LCD.

Another reason I am selling the V600 is that...I only want to use a phone as a phone, not a MP3 player or a gaming machine, so the Nokia 6200 do me very well on this.
I was going to keep this V600 so that I can use it when I travel to Asia. If you go to China for example, I will need to have this V600 for its 900MHz, I will be SOL with my Nokia 6200 (no 900MHZ band). This is the beauty of a all bnad phone (850/900/1800/1900). Since the trip is now pushed back, I guess I can buy another 4-band phone then... |
