Lingo problems calling 1800 numbers

I'm trying to call a 1800 and a 1888 number but keep getting a message the number is not in service. I know there's nothing wrong with these numbers so it is definitely related to the voIP service. Has anybody had this issue and if so, what did you do about it, except switch provider?

Thanks!

UPDATE: I finally managed to get through...but I'm still wondering what is wrong when that happens.

this not in service issue seems to be happening to me as well today
examples 18005551212 directory assistance
or lingo tech support even.
it may go through after repeated redials.

This has also happened to me before on normal LD numbers in another area code as well.

They are well aware of issues with this.

now other regional 800 issues like calling my local ISP I have reported weeks ago and there is no resolution yet.

I don't know if any VoIP provider can handle these type of toll free numbers correctly.

also the Universal International Freefone Numbers (country code 800) do not work at all.
Also an issue with other VoIP providers.

thanks for reporting your issue it is nice to hear others are having the same problems.

Just an update. Tried calling tech support 1800 number and kept getting the message that the number is not available....ironic isn't it?

Also calling Europe (sweden) didn't work. I call but no ring or busy tone at all...

Hope this gets sorted out soon, it's quite annoying.

I had some toll free call issues again today myself.
did manage to call an 888 number successfully in the afternoon.

Also spent some time to research direct alternative numbers for several of my frequently called toll free numbers.
(not known for Lingo tech support however)
