Re: For Delfina!

Went to Delfina (in San Francisco) last night for my birthday. It came highly recommended from a former teacher of mine who lives in the city.

I have to say, the food was excellent. The price was right, for sure. With appetizers, dinner, and dessert, it came out to roughly $50 for my dad and I to eat there.

It's a small place, and busy at that. On 24 hours notice, the earliest they could get us a table (for a friday night) was 10PM. Apparently, you have to make a reservation one month in advance to get dinner for 5:30.

Top notch service, they had lots of waitresses and people bussing tables. First class.

What's Delfina? American Food? Chinese Food?

I don't care much for Olive Garden, but we don't have one here in Ukiah either, closest one is in Rohnert Park, about 75 miles south of us. We do have some great Italian places in Ukiah though, Club Calpella in Calpella (right near us in Redwood Valley, just north of Ukiah) has some awesome Italian Food too. Now for Seafood, Red Lobster is my fav! That's another restaurant we don't have, oh well, something to look forward to when we go down to Santa Rosa

There are Outback steak house, Red lobster, Olive garden, Sizzler, Denny's, Lions, etc.. all near where I live, just takes about a 10 min drive to get there. I love San Francisco!
There's this steak house in SF called "House of Prime Rib" or something it's really expensive. Plus I heard you can't wear jeans while dining at that place - HAH - I guess it's for those filty rich people. I'm also a big fan of Chinese foods, for seafood I eat at those Chinese resturants. Ginger grab MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
