Why such a limited time? Was it just a tease? Seems crazy to introduce an incredible offer for just three months. Hard to understand what they were attempting to accomplish. Thanks for your reply gdm.

Well it's a little more complicated then that. It was only advertised at 3meg max speeds. We were just told by some birdies that the 3meg service would be uncapped. Then after they saw it was a hit they came out with the pro package.

So in a way they never really lied or offered the anything higher then 3megs for $44.99;)

By the way, the 1.5-6.0mbps/384-608kbps speed tier is once again available from Sonic.net and DSLExtreme, if you happen to be in their service areas. The Sonic.net promotion is through tomorrow ($54.95/month the first year, $69.95 thereafter, 8 static bridged IPs), and the DSLExtreme promotion is through November 13 ($59.95 /month for life, your choice of 5 dynamic or 5 static IPs).

It's also available, I believe, from linkLINE.com in the Los Angeles area for an introductory promotional price of $49.95/month, although the promotion isn't listed on the web site.

gdm-So essentially the Expert Plus is just an uncapped Pro plan. Any of those birdies know how to get a Pro plan uncapped now?
