The cat1900 and Cisco 2500 router devices might not support dot1Q trunking but like all cisco devices they do support ISL Trunking just fine....

trick is you have to encapsulate the fe interface on the rooter..

just, so that there aint any com-fiooosions use this command show interfaces capabilities to find out the interfaces capabilities...

Pls tell me how to encapsulate FE interface?

Because I'm considering for switch and 2nd router, so I hope I can get more details before getting them.
