/sentimental stuff You know, it's easy to get caught up in the sort of "high-end" of computer security, especially for those of us who hang out and post pretty regularly at all the security forums but shoot, we were all uneducated noobs at one time. I consider myself just a step or two above the noob level!

I respect folks such as Rigner who aren't afraid to admit they don't currently know much about fighting malware and who are willing to post a question and seek help from others. Many of us don't post questions because of pride. We don't want to look unknowledgeable to the rest of the community.
I like Jaykaykay's comment here on a recent thread about what cookies can do:
"NOTE: this is in response to the post by BM Fan

ok this might sound stupid, but what exactly can a cookie do.

It's not stupid at all. It's a question to which you wanted an answer in order to become more educated. Hurray for you being wise enough to ask it. Think of how many others you've helped at the same time as helping yourself. What would have been stupid is not to have asked. Thanks for having the courage to do so."
That sorta sums it up, don't ya think?
So Rigner, ask all the questions you can think to ask. The forum folks will help you clean up that computer of yours and show you how to keep it clean!
Best of luck, friend!
