Verizon Fiber Expansion → What parts of Nassau CO??

I live in Nassau County. And lately I have noticced a lot of verizon activity in the areas surrounding my neighborhood. Does anyone have any specifics on which areas in Nassau Co, NY will be fed by fiber.

Mineola is one. Bellmore is another, Merrick is another. Massapequa is another. There is alot more but those are the only towns I know specifically about. I would say they would roll out alot of nassau.

If you see lots of VZ activity then its for fiber You should be good to go soon on FIOS!

Actually, the Vierizon guys were on my block last week running new cable. We are in East Meadow.

Your right on target with those towns, they are also all wired and ready to go in syosset and wantagh as well, and I think I heard woodbury to. From what I heard though the first ones are initially going to be massapequa, syosset, and I think either wantaugh or bellmore. I live in suffolk and have not heard anything at all. Has anyone out there heard anything about fiber in suffolk???
