Yep... the Sony sound chip and the 256 max colors at once gave it away. I remember both because I would try to explain to my Sega friends how the Sega CD graphics and sound were not inherently "better" than regular SNES... it just has far more storage. They would laugh at me and go play Night Trap...  . |

The SNES could also run at a slower 1.xxMhz
With the advent of the Super-FX and DSP chips... this clock speed was upped to 11Mhz~13Mhz... |

Yup, is the Neo-Geo.
Fun Fact: The Neo-Geo out lasted all the consoles of the 16-bit war. The last game to come out for the Neo-Geo was Samurai Showdown 5: Special in 2004 ! |

yeah i never got a neo-geo for the systems were like 700 bucks in which I could of had but games were like 100-250 bucks each...ouch but it was ahead of its time |
