Heh these are CITY upgrades not remotely close to regional upgrades... So odds of you getting upgraded are slim to none in the near future unless they are rolling these out regionally without telling anyone.

Ok, I've got normal 3000Kbps Down/384Kbps Up.... today I ran Speed Test since seeing this post and WHOA... My Download side was Almost 5000Kbps... I was like NICE... so I tried the other Speed test sites... pretty much the same thing.. lowest score as 4300Kbps. Then I had the Idea of Restarting my wonderful Motorola SB5100.. Now I'm back to 2200-2700Kbps.. DANG!!!

Haven't noticed anything here in the Detroit, MI area. (Covers Livonia, Novi, Farmington Hills, Redford)

There are some planned maintenance on the IP Network in and around San Antonio schedule early in the morning tomorrow:

12/9/2004(12:00 AM) - 12/9/2004(6:00 AM) SAN ANTONIO, TX

and then again Friday morning:

12/10/2004(12:01 AM) - 12/10/2004(5:59 AM) TEXAS DWDM RING

Here's hoping that it's actually an upgrade rather than just normal maintenance...

I hate to burst your bubble, but check that page more often. They do this kind of stuff ALL THE TIME. EVERYTIME there's a speed bump somewhere in the country, people in other areas check their franchise's site and see "planned maintenance" and get all excited...

wow...thanks for the boost TWC...Brooklyn NY and I got a solid 4700-4780 on the three times I ran Speed Test.

did you miss the part where I said "rather than just normal maintenance..." ? I know that they have these scheduled maintenance windows all the time, that's why I said what I said. What "bubble" are you supposedly bursting, btw..
