When you read on this forum you will find people that are very satisfied with their di-624 but others that only have trouble with it.
I'm one of the happy users and the d-link works like its promoted.
The wap54g is only access point (no router- neither 4 *100mbit switch) Wrt54G is standard router with 4 100mbit ports. The wrt54gS is the same but faster, just like other speed enhancements from other companies like belkin and d-link...... so then you will need to buy their products too if you want to get the extra speed.... All the other information is well documented on their sites.
