You need a decent connection and a decent CPU. |

There is an extension for FF called Tweak Network settings (» www.bitstorm.org/extensions/) you can occur some errors since some web servers do not allow more than a certain amount of simultaneous connections from one IP |

It seems to work really well for me. I'm on DSL (1.5/256 adv, 1.2/200 actual) and am using an old laptop with only a PII400 in it, but that lil tweak fixed the problems I've been having with it sending out a request and the reply not coming back, so it just doesnt display a page at first, untill I hit refresh. Now though, it seems to display the page lickity split.
Also, I only set the pipelines to 4 since my pc is old and slow, it doesnt handle mass amounts of threads well. |

Actually... going back to default, I realize it really did speed up browsing. |

And if you use regular Mozilla (I use both Mozilla & Firefox) the above tips work fine with it as well. |

Well, its definitely faster for my setup (3008 kbps connection, 3.4 gHz CPU), but the risk seems to be possible (likely?) incompatibility with some web sites. I'm not sure whether to try to keep the changes.
