Oh and hotmax.. you're asking me for all kinds of data there. I am a home user with varying bandwidth allocation. My kid uses a machine, I use another, wife uses the laptop, another machine is just an Oracle DB server. Load GREATLY varies. I often use bittorrent for downloads when I can, which stresses up- and downlink. My speeds to my ISP are 3 Mb/s down and 768 Kb/s up, far from slow for a home user. I make use of that bandwidth quite frequently, and also transfer files locally between wireless and wired machines (photo and home movie transfer).
The Oracle DB server is used for development, sporadially. Hard to assign an average load to that.
