Hot and Cold...Hey, I'm relly glad that you have and are receiving such great service from Phoenix! They seem to run "hot and cold," providing either really good or really poor service. I truly hope that you don't have any problems because it's pretty much a nightmare trying to resolve issues with them, either technical or administrative. |

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUEI have had phoenix dsl for about 3 months now. They have the crappiest customer service I have ever seen. So f***in unprofessional its funny. 10 emails, 10 voice mails 0 responses. One call to a tech support person had me waiting on the line while he sat there and bs'd with his co worker.. (and if your reading this.. yeah you.. the one who was saying.. oh i knew you'd find a better job.. seems like everybodys getting out of here) and RUDE! Or today, dial 0 for operator only to hear a hacking coughing rude women say abruptly "phoenix..." .. i need some help with my dsl service. it is having serious throughput problems. "hold on" and then she loops me back to the menu system. I wont even get into the other horror stories about trying to get my speed turned up.
This company is as f****d up as a soup sandwich. Even if they are having "start up difficulties" at least they could conduct themselves with a little more professionalism and itegrity.
enough about the customer support side, or lack there of!!!
I have 768 down and 408 up. For the first couple months it was great, aside from the crappy ass ping times (gaming bites) then it started going seriously downhill.. throughput started getting to be less and less until i could get about 1 out of 100 pings through. Called .. gee..guess what happend.. nothing! Next day.. its working and a week later its still working..but ever since.. the throughput is worse that a dial modem.
just navigating this website is a serious pain in the ass. this is extremely irritating because i gave up isdn..good isdn at that.. for this. anyone have any experience breaking the year long contract. seems to me that it shouldnt be a problem since this service is not acceptable by any standards.
And now northpoint (my upstream) just got bought out by verizon. This sucks. |
