<description><![CDATA[michaelr7 posted : Two weeks ago for me.  They are working on upgrading the area and send someone door-to-door once it is ready.  Got 3mb down - 4mb isn't yet available.<br><br>Talking to some tech people Comcast had to do a lot more work than they anticipated to upgrade this area.  Seems the original install of the cable 20 years ago was very poor so they couldn't reuse a lot of it.  <br><br>In my area SBC claims to have the same problem - so they don't offer DSL.  Unlike Comcast they are too cheep and have no plans to ever upgrade the wiring.]]></description>

They are a great ISP and with some magic my speeds went from 384k/256k to 768k/384k.  Which is decent and good enough for me (for now).]]></description>
