I have that modem, and like I said earlier, it handled the upgrade well.

No speed upgrade in the east bay

Well, I'm in Castro Valley, CA, on the Gold tier, and my speed is still 4000/370 after the network upgrade. Looks like only the peninsula and south of it -- along with some locations between here and Sacramento -- got speed upgrades. Hopefully the east bay won't be far behind.

I've power-cycled my modem (SB5100) and still pull the same old IP.

I have the v2.0.1r1135(dpc2100-v201r1135a-0902_20050301.csg) firmware version.

Looks like a new firmware version also comes with the upgrade.

Here in Napa CA (zip 94558), Just received the upgrade. I powercycled the modem/router and noticed I went from 3873/344 to 6061 / 658. With constant download/upload speeds of 770KB/sec and uploading at 90KB/sec. So far so good! I added this to the yahoo database!

Is it at all possible that they'll gradually push the speed upgrades out for the bay area over the next 12 hours or so?

Should I power-cycle my modem every few hours? Color me impatient.

Been power cycling my modem every hour...at least my speeds are almost as fast as they used to be PRE-BEDROCK update (currently at 2700/230) used to be 3000/230.

Supported modems
Please see the attached posting from a Comcast CSR. Since SB4100 supports 4.9 MB/sec, I'd expect SB4200 to provide at least as much.
