All this week there have been 2+ verizon trucks on my street from ~9am to 2pm. Today, a month after they put up slack loops on my street, they finally put up FDTs! They look slightly different than the ones I'v been seeing as well as all the ones I'v been posting pictures of since the begining of this now huge thread. ...these FDT's are ever so slightly longer and knowticeably smaller (from top to bottom). They also put bright red lace/ribbon on all of the fiber distribution terminals(?) on this street. Is this code to the Verizon workers that they need to go back to these terminals and fiddle around with them some more? I know, I know, these arent very clear pictures (I'v been taking all my pictures through my cheap cell phone), but you can sort of make out what I'm trying to describe. I'll give 'em till Febuary break before I call up Verizon and see if I can get an installation date.
The tape ribbons mean the terminals were hung but not spliced. That way when a crew goes down street they can tell at a glance the ones that still need to be spliced.
