Comcast 'Upgrades' are Downgrades → So My Paltry PCX1100 won't work?

I bought this modem when it had a street price of $200. Does this mean that I'll rent theirs or buy another? It looks another Comcast "free Upgrade" that's going to cost me money! I wish they would keep their upgrades to themselves!

I'll let you know when I get this new Motorola SB5100 provisioned comcast database (bedrock) is down has been past 2 hours.

I too bought the PCX1100u when it was 199.00 so dont feel alone.

I got one too but for $100. I really doubt that this modem can't handle it but what do I know.

So far So good... The SB5100 looks to have fix my gold tier problem. guess the Toshiba PCX1100u cant handle it.
