Verizon FiOS → Re: Verizon Fiber Optic for Gaming?

Fiber Optic is obviously a superior technology to DSL. My question really deals with Verizon's routing, its backbone connection. A 1ms ping to the ISP is not so great if it then jumps to 150 because of router bottlenecks.

I'm still hoping to hear from someone in this area with FOIS, in terms of ingame experience, or someone who has used Broadbandreports tools to test latency and stability.
