[98/Me] Accessing Internet Through Network

I have Windows 98 and am using Broadband Tiscali Internet, my modem is a USB type one:

My problem is that when i install my Network Card and Enable Internet Sharing, the internet stops working, it will connect but won't display any pages or do any internet related things. Currently i have disabled my network card and removed internet sharing so i can access the internet. I think it's a problem with my Internet Connection Wizard or something. Help please.

Can’t access the Internet via USB after enabling NIC for network
Symptom: you access the Internet via a modem or router with a USB connection. To enable ICS to share the Internet access, you add another NIC. You are unable to access the Internet and experience some problems as listing below:
1. You can’t access the Internet from the ICS host and clients.
2. You can’t ping a public IP.
3. You may be able to ping a public IP but unable to ping any web site.
Causes: 1. You have a routing issue. Make sure only Internet connection has default gateway and leave blank on the LAN connection gateway.
2. Make sure you have correct ICS settings.

You need to get rid of the USB modem and GET a Ethernet modem. Then BUY a DSL/Cable broadband router to share the one internet connection to more than ONE PC.
