RCN → [Internet] Anyone else having net issues in Manhattan?

A lot of sites are not working for me

Yes. RCN is having DNS server issues. Change yours to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2. These are the verizons dns servers. They work better for now than RCN's servers. I am in Roslindle, Ma.

i had a tech guy over my house yesterday...he told me that my levels were too low and he replaced cables etc...he left after telling me that the signal was now excellent and i shouldnt have problems any longer.....this afternoon all of a sudden i couldnt get on the internet or when i could i couldnt go to many sites..suddenly a short time ago it started working properly again...since i had a tech guy here just yesterday i know it isnt a problem on my end..i have been having these intermittent problems for some time now and it is becoming a bit tiresome to say the least..by the way i am on the upper east side of manhattan

Probably caused bey the DC Fiber Cut issue
