World of Warcraft → Re: Who gets to roll on the pristine hide?

I always /random on the thick leather after we skin the beast, and the skinner has ninjaed it EVERY TIME.

I don't have a finkle's skinner, but if i did, and i skinned a hide, i would let everyone roll on it.

that's retarded. your saying that if me and you killed a bear, i skinned it, u would want to roll on it?? sorry. that's like saying i'm out and someone mines a silver mine, me saying i want to roll on that silver.

if u want thick leather, take up skinning.

I never told you grimp, I have the 315 skinning and once I skinned the pristine hide, we let all casters roll on it, but because it was a guild run (the prime f-ing meridian) they let their paladins roll too. The Warlock that won never made it and sold it in Gad apparently.

read what he said. he didn't say anything about pristine leather...he said thick leather. he said if thick leather, which is different i assume, drops, he rolls on it.

if a rare leather drops, such as what you guys are talking about, i still believe the skinners should roll on who skins it and they keep the loot. sure they need the group, but the group wouldn't have gotten the skin without them.

If the skinner is the only one allowed to roll, HOW would the group get the hide anymore?

Another thing, the skinner can NOT even skin it BEFORE the group kills it first

I think he meant the pristine leather. But I'll still disagree with you on the rolling rules for it.

if someone there needs it, not just wants it, then i will agree to roll on it. i can agree on that. if no one absolutely needs it, then it's the skinners and they can all roll on it.

However, after looking at the WoW forum about pristine hide long threads, there ARE some skinners out there that thinks the pristine hide should be ABSOLUTELY belong to the skinner no matter what. And, this is just wrong

FYI Muz, I am 99% sure this was a sarcasm. I know it's hard to determine meaning from a message board, but if you were familiar with the item in question (Pristine Hide) and how it is obtained I would wager you'd take this as the joke it was intended as.
